Mersin Marina Has Been Awarded with Blue Flag

Mersin Marina won the 'Blue Flag' awards in 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021 consecutively, proving its environmentally friendly structure and being one of the most prestigious marinas in Turkey.

Established on a large area of 210,000 m² with the investment made by Mersin Marina Management Inc. and opened in 2011, Mersin Marina was designed as one of the largest marinas in the Eastern Mediterranean. With a capacity of 500 yachts on water and 500 yachts on land, the facility has reached a total capacity of 1000 boats and has become a popular destination for both domestic and foreign investors and visitors.

With its 1000-boat capacity, Mersin Marina is the most important marina in the region and continues to attract the attention of the local people and support employment with its 160-ton travel lift, 850-car car park, 2,000-seat amphitheater and 3,500 m² Yacht Club and Sports Centre.

In addition to all these functional features, the Blue Flag award proved that the marina successfully meets international standards in the fields of sustainable environmental management, safety, accessibility and education, and that it continuously maintains these standards. The marina also received the 'Best Environmental Education Activities Award' for the environmental education activities it organized in 2019 and 2021.
